A new wine which doesn’t forget tradition, a classical mixed grape-blends of
Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Sangiovese.
GRAPES: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese
SOILS: red clays and Messinian age sands
PRODUCTION: Kg. 0.8-1 for each plant
PLANTS / HECTARE: 5.300 plants
TRAINED SYSTEM: gobelet
GRAPE HARVEST: made by hand
WINE-MAKING: in stainless steel containers at checked temperature
RIPENING: in stainless steel containers and French barrique

per la loro bontà hanno molto spaccio”.
In his fine writing about the  landscape of Romagna to His Holiness the
Pope Sisto Quinto, Giovanni Pietro Ghisleri described Roncofreddo as afertile land laying between Cesena and Savignano, particularly devoted
to olive oil and wine production, were big amounts of high quality
wines where made and sent away to be appreciated in the distant land
of Venice.
