Where

Villa Venti is located in the commune of Roncofreddo, near Longiano, Cesena, and the Adriatic Sea, not far from Cesenatico and Rimini. We are surrounded by wonderful hiking opportunities, as well as beautiful cycling paths, particularly for those in good condition. Our hills ae magically filled with Medieval hamlets, with craftsmen and small workshops that for generations have preserved and handed down the flavours and ways of long ago. For families with children we are a “learning farm,” so it is always possible to organise some kind of activity right here, such as making pasta, picking cherries, visiting the garden and the vineyards. There are theme parks within 40 minutes by car, such as Mirabilandia, Acquafan, and Italia in Miniatura.

For those who love culture, we are in the territory of the Malatesta family, so visits are de rigueur to the Biblioteca Malatestiana in Cesena, the San Domenico Museum in Forlì, the Sea-faring Museum in Cesenatico, and much more. For those who appreciate artisanal crafts, Gambettola, just a few minutes distant, is a must-see for its two historic print-shops, Pascucci and Bertozzi. If you are a nature-lover, a few minutes’ walk will find you immersed in the intriguing and panoramic Valle del Rubicone, the Val Marecchia, and the Upper Valle del Savio. Rimini, Ravenna, Cesenatico, and Cervia are less than 30 minutes by car. At the Villa Venti agriturism, in a single day you can swim in the sea, picnic on a hillside, refresh your mind in Medieval villages and places of cultural interest, and dine in the agriturism in the midst of nature., We await you!

Wines in this growing area

The sub-zone of Longiano occupies the left bank of the Rubicon river as far as the border of the province of Rimini. Longiano and Roncofreddo comprise the most representative areas, showing ochre-coloured soils with clay, sand, and calcareous textures. Elevations here ensure a constant ventilation, yielding wines marked by pronounced, ultra-crisp fruit. The palate exhibits a multi-layered earthiness, classic to this terroir, supported by supple tannins and mineral impressions, creating wines that are forthright and crisply clean.
